RCHS Parent Center Agenda: March 17 - March 21, 2025

Stay informed and engaged with the RCHS Parent Center! This week, we have a variety of workshops and events designed to support our students and families, including:

- Monday, 3/17: St. Patrick’s Day celebration
- Tuesday, 3/18: Financial Aid (FAFSA & CADAA) Workshop (via Zoom at 5 PM)
- Wednesday, 3/19: Parent Portal (Schoology) Workshop at 8:45 AM
- Thursday, 3/20: Substance Abuse in Youth Workshop at 8:45 AM
- Friday, 3/21: School Experience Survey – Parents, share your feedback!

Parent Conference Night - Thurs. 2/27 5-7pm

Please join us for Parent Conference Night on Thursday, February 27 from 5:00-7:00pm. You will be able to pick up a copy of your student's most recent report card and teachers will be available to speak about your student's progress. We will also have booths with school and community resources available. FAFSA/CADAA support in the College Center! We hope to see you there!

Come and get updates on the Cell Phone Policy and Social Emotional Support

$LAUSD Responsible Use Policy (RUP) for District Computer Systems. A central red shape states, \'I am responsible for,\' with seven surrounding circles listing specific responsibilities: practicing positive digital citizenship, keeping personal information private, my passwords and my actions on District accounts, treating others with respect and dignity, accessing only educational content when using District technology, respecting and maintaining the security of District electronic resources and networks, taking all reasonable care when handling District equipment, and respecting the works of others. The LAUSD logo is present in the bottom left corner.$

Restitution for Damage to School Property

The Education Code provides that parents/guardians are responsible for District property loaned to students. Students who damage, deface, or vandalize their Chromebook may be charged for the cost to repair or replace the Chromebook.

The cost can range from $50 to $350 depending on the damage. Students are encouraged to take care of their Chromebooks to avoid being charged for damage.

Reseda Cheer Is 7th in The Nation!

Reseda’s Magnet Schools Earn National Recognition as Top Magnet Schools of Excellence!

Reseda's Police Academy and Science Magnet Schools are awarded Top Magnet Schools of Excellence! Ninety-six schools in the nation were chosen as Top Magnet Schools of Excellence. Reseda's Police Academy Magnet was selected as a top 20 finalist to move on to the interview rounds. We are proud of our award-winning magnet programs! Thank you, students, teachers, staff and parents!

Events include: Monday (2/10): Parent Portal & Schoology Workshop at 8:45 AM Tuesday (2/11): No specific events listed Wednesday (2/12): “E-Choices” Support for Middle School at 9 AM Thursday (2/13): California Dream Act (CADAA) Workshop at 8:45 AM Friday (2/14): CSUN Financial Aid Workshop from 2 PM - 3 PM, FAFSA Workshop at 2 PM Workshops are available in both English and Spanish. All events take place in the Parent Center.

Talleres de Solicitud de FAFSA/CADAA en Reseda Charter High School

Acompáñenos en talleres para obtener ayuda con la creación de su FSA ID y completar su solicitud de FAFSA o CADAA.
