We are having elections this Thursday, 08/27 at 3:40 pm to serve on Reseda’s Local School Leadership (LSLC) for the 2026–2027 school year (Sept. 2026 - Sept. 2028). Meetings are held monthly after school from 3:40 – 4:40pm.
About LSLC
The LSLC is comprised of 16 members:

50% Certificated Staff: UTLA Chapter Chair + 6 certificated staff members elected by bargaining unit members

50% Other Representatives: Principal, 1 classified staff, 5 parents, and 1 student
Functions & Responsibilities
The LSLC plays a vital role in shared decision-making and is responsible for:

Approving professional development plans

Setting student discipline guidelines

Determining school activity/event schedules (non-Board mandated)

Establishing equipment use guidelines

Managing certain local budget items

Recommending daily/bell schedule changes
