The Dance Program at Reseda Charter High School has been going strong for almost 2 decades, and offers beginning through advanced dancers classes in dance throughout the school day. In dance classes, students are given a grounding in all styles of dance from hip hop to classical ballet, learn how to choreograph dances of their own, and are given opportunities to perform for the school and community at evening dance shows. Reseda Charter High School also boasts an award-winning Dance Team that performs at school functions, recitals, competitions and outreaches to local schools. Advanced students may audition for Dance Team, which meets during the school day and for after-school practices, and receive professional-level training and classes from the teacher, Ms. Raquel Fraticelli, and guest choreographers from the industry. Many RCHS dance students go on to dance professionally, in crews and companies, for agents who send them to auditions for commercials, music videos and films, and in college and beyond.
