Ms. Harkins

Ms. Harkins first joined the Reseda Charter faculty during the 2023-2024 School Year. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Dance from The University of MN-Duluth, where she specialized in violin and ballet. After she graduated, she moved to North Hollywood, CA and pursued a career in the entertainment industry. She joined SAG-AFTRA in 2015 and has maintained membership ever since. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she received her teaching licensure through The College of St. Scholastica, where she also received her Master of Science in Teaching. This was when Ms. Harkins took a major career pivot. She taught in Minnesota for one year before coming out to California again and becoming a Reseda Regent. 

She holds a Single Subject Credential in English Language Arts and Theatre. 

She currently teaches English Language Arts classes, Theatre, and is the Yearbook advisor. 

 

When she's not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Mocha and Panini, and spending time with friends.
